Robert A. Schuck – Virginia Beach
Robert A. Schuck, born August 4, 1933 in the Bronx, NY to the late Dorothy and Martin Schuck, died at home July 18, 2010 after a long struggle with Diabetes. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Louise Monroe; he was a beloved father to Christopher, Stacey and Frank (Jen St. Cyr); grandfather to Danielle, Kelly, Matthew, Olive, Francis X and Stephanie; brother of, Rev. Martin Schuck (deceased), Anne Devereux, Stephen Schuck (Laura), Dorothy Molloy (Bill), Mary Hoxeng (Dave); Uncle Bob to Sean, Maureen, Stephen, Brian, Mark, Lauren, Meghan and Elizabeth.
Bob worked for Grumman for 35 years, the Boy Scouts of America for 50+ years and moved to Virginia Beach last year. He enjoyed movies, traveling, books on tape, Eagles and playing Rummikub with his best friends Audrey, Patsy, Peggy, Bob, Marilyn and Fred.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 11:00am at Church of the Ascension, 4853 Princess Anne Rd. 495-1886. Cremation Society of Virginia is assisting the family, online condolences may be made at www.cremate.org.
